BSB80615 – Graduate Diploma of Management

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

Course Delivery
The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks his includes 44 weeks of structured delivery (minimum 20 hours per week) which may include orientation, scheduled classes, course related information sessions, supervised study sessions and assessment; plus 8 weeks (maximum) holidays. Students receive a compulsory orientation within one (1) week of their course commencing.
Mode of Study
Study will be in a classroom environment with Assessments classroom and workplace based. Students will have use of College facilities including spacious training rooms that are equipped with whiteboards, data projectors and screens; computer labs, unlimited access to internet and free library resources in close proximity.

Students are advised of the assessment requirements by their trainer (face-to-face), and as outlined in the assessment workbooks. Assessment is structured throughout the course. If students are unable to achieve competency, additional support is provided through mentoring and access to re-assessment as outlined in the College’s policies and procedures.

The student will be required to complete 200 hours of practical placement in an Australian regulated education and care service. At Blue Bay College we will assist our students in obtaining work placement.
